FABRIFACTION 2012: FOTOFEST 2012 BIENNIAL SPECIAL EVENT
APRIL 26th + FOTOFEST HEADQUARTERS
We seek to promote and highlight the natural synergies that take place when artists join forces to relate to the human experience in their respective mediums. Fabrifaction 2012 will weave the magic of visual arts and poetry with an ekphrastic reading during FotoFest 2012 Biennial and National Poetry Month, April 2012.
FotoFest's theme this year is Contemporary Russian photography. Please go to a participating gallery between now and May. Remember, April 26th is National Poem in your Pocket Day. Select a poem you like and carry it with you to share. You can also tweet your poem selection by using the hashtag #pocketpoem

We are thrilled to have the
following line-up for the event:
POETS
There will be between five to seven poets performing. Among the performers are UH Downtown professor, Andre De Korvin, the well known performance poet, Kool B, another UH Downtown professor, Robin Davidson, Panhandler Publishing president Becky Van Meter, and veteran slam coach, Marcell Murphy.
MUSIC
After the reading there will be musical performances by Trio Musette and Two Star Symphony.
